ReCreo is Contract Workplaces’ education division.
We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals —academics, educators, researchers, architects, builders and designers— who understand that physical space is a strategic tool to drive and manage innovation in education.
MISSION STATEMENT
To contribute designs that favor profound educational innovation and transformation, understanding that our physical environment has direct repercussions on our way of thinking, feeling, acting, learning and being in the world.

NEW PARADIGMS IN EDUCATION
Whenever we learn something new, the incredible plasticity of our brains is put on display. Designing educational spaces that are more than mere “containers” mobilizes and activates that capacity in the best way possible.
We perceive our surroundings through our emotions and, if our experiences are positive and edifying, everything that happens within that environment will be as well. The design of physical spaces makes it possible to humanize environments that students will enter into for years in order to develop the skills they will need to become lifelong apprentices.
At ReCreo, we believe that spaces can be allies to the learning process, as catalysts of collaboration, communication, peaceful cohabitation, inclusion, a sense of belonging and identity for the entire educational community.
